Chicago Athenaeum 2007 Architecture Award: MODAA Thirty-five awarded projects were selected from hundreds of submissions, and MODAA was selected to represent the best in mixed-use development. Established over 10 years ago, the program honors and celebrates the most outstanding new accomplishments for new architecture designed and built in the United States. The Chicago Athenaeum, established in the historic city where modern architecture was first realized by Louis H. Sullivan, Frank Lloyd Wright, and Mies van der Rohe, functions internationally as one of the foremost museums dedicated to both architecture and industrial design. |

LABC 37th Annual Architectural Awards In a ceremony that featured the Honorable Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa and the Honorable Eric Garcetti, President of the LA City Council, the LA Business Council awarded SPF:a with two architectural awards this year: Best Mixed-Use Development for MODAA, and Best Civic Building in the Unbuilt Category for the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts, Beverly Hills. CCAIA MODAA picks up its third honor of the year at the California Council AIA Awards Ceremony, a CCAIA Merit Award. |
