BREAKING GROUND: CAVERHILL RESIDENCE

Client Don Caverhill broke ground this season on the latest SPF:a home, an understated yet magnifi cent hillside icon on the edge of Mulholland scenic parkway. Streetside, the home is clad with wide- format, slightly angled concrete panel “gills”. The façade allows natural daylight and ventilation in while maintaining privacy within the home. Cliff-side, the structure descends three stories down the natural slope, and windows open to picturesque views across the entire Los Angeles basin.
