JARIC RESIDENCE

SPF:a is designing a15,600-square foot house for Minnesota Timberwolves guard, Marco Jaric. Completely nested in this tight Beverly Hills canyon site, the Jaric residence is broken into two main volumes: the underground portion where one enters the garage, also containing an entertainment room and fitness center, and the above-grade volume containing the residential areas. The lower volume is an underground, 2-story concrete structure with a 50-foot long,
horizontal opening overlooking the home’s entry drive and the Los Angeles basin below. The upper volume is a steel &
glass residential structure with the home’s kitchen, bedrooms and living room. The upper volume spills out to a 4,000
square foot lawn and swimming pool to the front, and a private indoor/outdoor koi pond to the rear.
