OBERFELD TO BREAK GROUND BY 2007

Client Mauricio Oberfeld will break ground this year on another SPF:a hillside home, in the bird streets of West Hollywood. The 10,000 square foot home includes many stunning design elements, like a visitor entryway that leads toward a modern lily pond. SPF:a designed and crafted full-size models of the 15-foot high, vertical louvers that shade the main fl oor, crafted out of Swiss PearlTM cement panel boards, reinforced at key junctures for additional strength and rigidity. Visitors enter the home directly underneath a 20-foot long glass roof, visible from floor to ceiling windows on the second fl oor. The entire home orients inhabitants toward the spectacular vistas across Los Angeles, where a large outdoor patio and infinity pool cascades over the edge of the cliff.
