JULIUS SHULMAN & JUERGEN NOGAI

SPF:a was pleased to feature a MODAA exhibition of photographs that Shulman & Nogai took last fall of the Beuth Residence on Blue Jay Way. Photographs examine the 9,250-square foot residence in Shulman & Nogai’s signature style, and large scale prints were on view both in color and black and white.

“Photographing the Beuth Residence with Julius Shulman was a particularly exciting project,” said Nogai. “The dramatic views were perfectly complimented by the beautifully designed and well thought out interiors, which gave us the feeling of floating above the city. The energy of the house followed us to MODAA, which has its own spectacular space. It really was a complimentary fusion of two dramatic spaces, and for Julius and me a wonderful culmination of our work.”
