WILSON L(A)UNCHES TO RAVE REVIEWS

Chef Michael Wilson and LariAnn Lang officially opened Wilson’s doors in June, bringing fresh style and flavor to the Culver City Art District. SPF:a designed the restaurant interiors to reflect the relaxed-yet-stylish nature of the owner-chef. A bamboo-skinned bartop, custom oversized light fixtures, orange caesarstone tabletops and green curtains playfully contrast with the polished concrete floors that continue through the adjacent MODAA gallery. A second phase of design will complete the patio, drawing the two seating areas together, and building out a host station and storage facility.

“We came, we saw, we wanted,” says chef Michael Wilson, when asked why he selected MODAA as the home for his signature restaurant. “I liked the wide open space, the ability to cook in an open kitchen, the capacity to host larger events, and of course – being next to the greatest architects in town!”
